Stylist.co.uk exclusive have first glimpse of the collection, that ticks off all the key trends that emerged from the s/s 2012 catwalks, candy pastels, eclectic prints along with sports-luxury.

Sir Paul Smith, the fasion designer, is to be awarded British fashion's highest honour at the British Fashion Awards later this month. 

"The Versace fashion house will be listed in the January 2012 schedule of Haute Couture collections," the French couture federation, which organises the three days of shows from January 23 to 26, said in a statement.

It was one of the most gossiped-about presentations of the season: an event held in semi-private, with no photographers, as per Mr. Ford’s decree, so that the clothes would only be seen close to the date they’re available in stores.

Samples of the designer's spring/summer 2012 collection have been stolen in transit from Paris to London. 

W magazine premiered a new documentary by Loic Prigent and Fabien Constant called “The Client,” featuring Carine Roitfeld. The 13-minute documentary follows the inimitable Roitfeld as she attends the couture shows as a “client” and then picks out dresses and gets fitted for a Paolo Roversi shoot which appeared in W‘s October issue.
